We monitor water pollutants as part of our efforts to improve wastewater quality and have established internal standards for immediate response when levels exceed limits.

Soil Pollution Management

Kolon Spaceworks manages soil quality in accordance with its internal soil management guidelines.
Each site is overseen by a responsible unit with clearly defined authority and accountability to ensure compliance with monitoring standards.
If signs of potential contamination are detected or levels exceed permissible limits, root causes are analyzed and immediate response measures are taken.
We also conduct regular soil contamination tests as part of our commitment to protecting the environment.

Chemicals and Waste Management

Kolon Spaceworks strives to eliminate risks associated with chemicals throughout the entire process—from raw material intake and production to product shipment.
To ensure safety and compliance, we strictly manage the handling of hazardous chemicals and waste.
We maintain a comprehensive set of internal regulations and manuals, including the Chemical Management Guideline, Raw Material and Packaging Guideline, Hazard and Risk Assessment Guideline, Waste Management Guideline, Transport and Packaging Protocols for hazardous substances, and Nonconformance Management Regulation.
Furthermore, to ensure that regulations and manuals are effectively implemented at each stage of handling, storage, transportation and disposal, safety management procedures and checklist inspections are being conducted in each and every stage.

Greenhouse Gas(GHG) and Energy Management

Kolon Spaceworks manages greenhouse gas emissions and emission sources across the organization in compliance with the 'Act on the Allocation and Trading of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Permits'.
Periodically we also collect GHG data based on the six GHGs defined by the IPCC guidelines, an international standard, and continuously monitor GHG emission facilities, and the collected data is verified by an external professional organization every year to ensure reliability.
Collected data is verified annually by a third party to ensure reliability.
We invest in site-level facility upgrades and efficiency improvements to reduce emissions and save energy, while also exploring opportunities to expand renewable energy use.

Air Pollution Management

Kolon Spaceworks operates air management regulations across all facilities and operations to minimize and eliminate air pollutants.
Our policy sets clear emission limits, and in the event of any exceedance, we identify the root cause and implement corrective measures without delay.
We also maintain a proactive monitoring system to anticipate and effectively respond to potential issues.
